Hook: DOHIKU 644 Curved Nymph Hook
Bead: 2.5 mm Tungsten Bead
Thread: Textreme 6/0 in Black
Hotspot: UNI Floss - Hot Orange
Rib: Sybai Brassie Wire in Copper
Body: Pheasant Tail Fibers
Dubbing: Sybai Peacock Dubbing - UV Dark Olive
Hackle: Nature’s Spirit Premium Partridge in Brown Olive
The Pheasant Tail Caddis Nymph
DOHIKU 644 with a copper bead
Start the thread at the bead and wrap back to the hook bend
Tie in a length of orange floss
Wrap the floss up to behind the bead and tie off
Tie in a length of copper wire and tie back to about 2mm short of the end of the floss
Tie in 4-6 fibers of Ringneck Pheasant Tail
Wrap the pheasant tail forward to the bead and tie off. Make sure to leave some of the orange floss exposed at the hook bend to create a hotspot.
Rib the body with the copper wire
Form a dubbing noodle with the Sybai peacock dubbing
Wrap a dubbing collar and whip finish
